Charlotte Gullap-Moore has served the people of this community behind the scenes for more than a decade.

Meet Charlotte

Dr. Charlotte Gullap-Moore, DNP, MSN, APRN, ANP-BC, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of San Francisco. She attended Atlantic Community College for two years before transferring to Temple University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and, years later, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with honors – including induction into Sigma Theta Tau | Kappa Chi Chapter. 
Charlotte has spent two decades delivering primary care and chronic pain management to the patient population in Santa Barbara and across the country. She is also a small business owner, having spent the past twelve years as CEO of Moore On Health™.
Charlotte has distinguished herself by actively engaging in several board-level leadership roles within nursing organizations including the California Board of Nursing, and local and international non-profits, as well as serving in an appointed position in Santa Barbara. In addition, she is also a part-time faculty lecturer at California State University Channel Islands and the Goleta Extension Nursing Program, instructing baccalaureate and master's degree students. Gullap-Moore has consistently advocated at the state and federal level for healthcare-related legislation, particularly for bills that affect women, students and protected classes.
Charlotte's leadership and advocacy experiences align with Santa Barbara City College's Board Trustees responsibilities to support sustainable and equitable access for all students to thrive and the community to flourish. As a member of our nation's largest and most trusted healthcare profession, Dr. Gullap-Moore understands the ethical obligation of implementing due process, utilizing active listening skills, critical thinking, and using practical consensus-building to find solutions that meet the needs of the students and the community.

She is married to Jeff A. Moore, MS, MBA, who is a Senior Data Scientist and Director IT at Abbott. The couple moved to sunny Santa Barbara in 2011. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys taking long walks with her husband, organic gardening, and hanging out with their chickens.
